Our Story Begins In Ipoh

The story of Uncle Wah began in Ipoh, Perak, where the late Mr Ng Sek Wah had his hawker stall along Jalan Panglima. More commonly known as "Wah Suk" (Uncle Wah), he came up with his very own curry recipe by learning from experienced cooks, going through trial and error and getting feedback from family and friends to perfect his recipe.

Uncle Wah always loved cooking for others. Whether it was over some chicken curry, meatball curry or just his curry powder, he loved being hospitable. After his passing, everyone missed him and his curries dearly.

His son, Ming Foo decided to carry on his legacy by making Uncle Wah's curry powder and paste, and most importantly, making sure everyone could still have a taste of Uncle Wah's curry.
